Cosmos Watch

An original watch with a whole solar system inside: the sun glows at the centre and all eight planets ride four floating sapphire discs around it, each spinning on its own tilted axis, under a sapphire bubble dome.

Details

• Black skeleton case with open side glass and X-braces, a thin rose-gold bezel and a sapphire bubble dome
• Cosmic dial with a glowing sun, a citrine halo and 24 rose-gold rays (12 set with diamonds)
• All 8 planets in true order on 4 floating sapphire discs: Earth with clouds and its moon, ringed Saturn and Uranus
• Sub-dial at 6 o'clock, faceted citrine crown, 22 mm strap with a tang buckle and two keepers
• Fully animated: the discs carry the planets around the sun, the planets spin on their tilted axes, the moon orbits Earth, the halo turns and the sub-dial hands run. It is one seamless 240-second loop that every viewer's game plays locally, so it costs no network sync

Two versions included

• Optimized (the main prefab): 86,588 triangles, 23 materials, made for everyday wear
• Full detail (bonus): 300,416 triangles, 28 materials, with the skeleton movement behind the caseback, made for photos and close-ups

Fit

A real-size watch (52 mm head) with a strap for a wrist of about 150 mm. Drag the prefab onto your avatar, move and scale it onto your left wrist, and Modular Avatar attaches it to your forearm when you upload. It works on the right wrist too, and the Readme explains how.

Previews

Pictures 1 to 3 show the optimized version and pictures 4 and 5 the full-detail version, rendered in Unity with the included materials. The backdrop, lighting and a light glow and colour boost are only for the pictures.

Terms of use

• Personal use on your own avatars, public or private
• Commercial use allowed (avatars, commissions, streams, videos, worlds and other paid content) with credit given to Mwah (Benji)
• You may edit and recolour it for your personal or commercial use.
• You may include it in an avatar you sell or make for a client, as part of that finished avatar
• Do not resell, redistribute or share the files on their own, edited or not, or put them in other asset packs
