Snowplow Beacon Light - 6-LED Light Bar with Sirens [Modular Avatar]

The 6-segment warning light bar from the roof of a snowplow, for your avatar's head - or the roof of your vehicle avatar.

Made by an author who actually clears snow with a wheel loader (ZL15) in a heavy-snow area of Hokkaido, Japan.

v1.1.0 adds colors, patterns and sounds, and lets you move the mount point and position from the VRChat menu.

Features

• Drop-in: placed inside your avatar, it sits on top of the head automatically, sized to your avatar (non-humanoid car / robot avatars: on top, centered = the roof)
• Lighting modes: always on / flash on fist / flash while moving
• 8 colors: orange, red, blue, red+blue, green, white, purple, rainbow
• 5 patterns: double flash (snowplow), sweep (rotating), all together, left-right alternate (police style), strobe. Speed dial
• 3 sounds: backup beeper, siren (wail), siren (yelp). "Auto beep when reversing" plays the beeper while you walk backwards (great for vehicle avatars)
• Mount: Head / Chest / Hips / Right hand, plus forward-back, left-right, up-down, size and rotation dials. Saved
• Real-light version (SnowBeacon_MA_Light): a point light that follows the flashing and really lights up the surroundings
• All sounds are original, synthesized by the author

Easy setup (Modular Avatar)

1. Import the unitypackage
2. Drag SnowBeacon_MA onto your avatar - it sits on the head automatically
3. Upload as usual
4. Move it with the "Mount" menu in VRChat

No manual animator editing. Works with almost any avatar, humanoid or generic.

Specs

• About 1,150 polygons / 2 materials (Standard shader)
• 85 bits synced (86 with the real light), all saved
• The no-light version does not affect the performance rank; the real-light version becomes "Poor" (1 light)
• Requirements: Unity 2022.3.22f1, VRChat SDK - Avatars, Modular Avatar 1.18+

Terms: OK to use in VRChat and other platforms, streaming and videos. Modification OK. Redistribution or resale (including modified data) is prohibited.
