商品描述

Free glowing sword for VRChat avatars - the Photon Saber from the Neon Blades pack, single or dual, in 2 glow colours, as PC and Quest-lite prefabs, linked to your hand bones. The blade extends out of the hilt when you switch it on and retracts when you switch it off. A one-click VRCFury menu builder and a "Fit to selected avatar" button are included.

■ What you get (free)

• Photon Saber, single (one hand) or dual (both hands): hilt, wrist cord, blade that extends and retracts

• 2 glow colours (Aurora cyan, Nova pink), Light hardware, 4 prefabs: Aurora/Nova × PC/Quest-lite

• One-click VRCFury menu builder: menu "Neon Blades" with Photon Saber (Right) and Photon Saber (Left) - both on = dual, saved choice

• "Fit to selected avatar" button: the hilts are placed in the fists of your avatar (humanoid, T/A-pose)

• Unity 2022.3, Built-in pipeline, no runtime scripts (the Editor menu tools are Editor-only)

The full Neon Blades pack (paid) adds the Energy Katana, the Glow Greatsword, 4 glow colours and Dark hardware (48 prefabs): https://jinxxy.com/TheQuietStack/tyTWV

■ Setup

1. Drag Unity/NeonBlades_Lite.unitypackage into your Unity 2022.3 project (VRChat SDK for Avatars installed).

2. Menu Tidebone > Neon Blades > 1 - Build materials and prefabs: builds the materials and 4 prefabs (Photon Saber × Light × 2 glow colours × PC/Quest-lite) in Assets/TideboneStudio/NeonBlades/Prefabs.

3. With VRCFury installed: menu Tidebone > Neon Blades > 2 - Build VRCFury menu prefabs, then drag Prefabs/VRCFury/NeonBlades_Light_<Colour>_VRCFury (Quest: NeonBlades_Quest_...) onto your avatar root. A "Neon Blades" menu appears in VRChat: Photon Saber (Right), Photon Saber (Left) - the left saber is independent (both on = dual), your choice is saved.

4. Select your avatar and click Tidebone > Neon Blades > 3 - Fit to selected avatar (it uses your own bones). Fine-tune by moving the blade object under ToyMount_RightHand / ToyMount_LeftHand.

5. Without VRCFury: drag the prefabs from Prefabs/ onto your hand bones (origin = grip, +Z along the forearm) and drive the blend shape "Extend" (0-100) of the Blade_G mesh with your own toggle.

■ Specs

Photon Saber: 1,502 triangles on PC / 564 on Quest-lite (Blender counts). Blade length extended: 0.95 m. 2 material slots (hardware + glow). The blade is one skinned mesh with an 'Extend' blend shape (retracted = 0, extended = 100); no particles, no trails, no lights. PhysBone: wrist cord of 4 links on PC, none on Quest-lite. Glow = emissive material (lilToon emission on PC, VRChat Mobile Standard Lite emission on Quest-lite). Skinned meshes and PhysBones on mobile avatars count towards the Performance Rank.

• Tested (batch, 05.11.2026): Unity 2022.3.22f1, VRChat SDK (Avatars) 3.10.5, VRCFury 1.1434.0, VRChat Robot sample avatar: import 0 compiler errors; all 4 Lite prefabs and 4 VRCFury prefabs checked (triangles, materials, emission, PhysBone, skinning, blend shape, menu, toggles).

■ Notes

• Needs the VRChat SDK (Avatars); the menu needs VRCFury (free, vcc.vrcfury.com) - NOT included.

• Original design: no film or game weapon, no brand. A prop only.

• Not included: avatar, VRCFury itself, sound, particle effects. Not tested in VRChat itself (PhysBone feel, other players' view).

• Images are Blender renders of the shipped models, not in-game captures. The grey figure shown is not included.

■ How it was made

The models and textures are generated procedurally with the author's own scripts and Blender; an AI assistant was used to write the scripts (as stated in the license). The gallery images are Blender renders of the shipped models on a grey stand-in figure (not included), posed by script.
