A big paper fan slapper (harisen), the classic Japanese comedy prop. It is about half your avatar's height and comes in 3 designs: White, Pastel and Comic.
Hit another character's head, body, hands or feet and a comic burst, stars and smoke pop out with a slap sound.
One button puts it in your avatar's hand (right or left). If it does not fit, adjust the size, grip point, tilt and turn with sliders.
Good for
- A comedic retort for your friends
- Penalty games
- Comedy skits and role-play
- Slap-moment photos at meetups
Features
- Show / hide it with "Giant Harisen" in the menu (the hand grips it)
- Small stars trail from the tip when it moves (even without hitting anything)
- Hitting another character's head, body, hands or feet makes a comic burst, stars and smoke with a sound
- One-button setup; size, grip point, tilt and turn can be adjusted by hand
- Remove it with one button (or Ctrl+Z). To change the design, remove it and add it again
Notes
- Hits use VRChat's contacts (head, torso, hands, feet, fingers)
- It does not react to your own body
- While it is out, that hand stays closed (no hand gestures on that hand)
- PC only. For Humanoid avatars with the index, middle and little finger bones assigned
- Requires Unity 2022.3, VRChat SDK (Avatars), Modular Avatar (tested with 1.18.7) and lilToon
- Tested in VRChat and passed the VRChat SDK Build & Test. The effect after a hit was tested in Unity (hitting another player was not tested with two people)
Contents
- Harisen in 3 designs (about 900 to 1,100 triangles, textures up to 2048 px), effects (5 particle systems, 1 sound), animators (FX, Gesture), the setup window (Japanese / English)
